What Khana Pina does

• Shows the menus of restaurants in Tando Allahyar.
• Types your order into a WhatsApp message and opens the restaurant's chat, so you only press Send.
• Khana Pina does not cook, deliver or take any money from you. Using it costs you nothing.

What the restaurant does

• Reads your message and confirms the order on WhatsApp. Until it replies, your order is not confirmed.
• Cooks the food and delivers it with its own rider. It tells you the delivery charge and the time.
• Takes your payment in cash.
• Answers for the food: taste, quantity, cleanliness, ingredients and anything about allergies.

If something is wrong with your food or your delivery, tell the restaurant in the same WhatsApp chat.

Prices and opening hours

• Prices are copied from each restaurant's own menu. A restaurant can change a price before we update the site, so the price it confirms on WhatsApp is the price you pay.
• “Ask price” means the restaurant has not given us that price yet. It tells you the price before it starts cooking.
• Opening hours are a guide. A restaurant may open late or close early.

Ordering fairly

• Send an order only if you mean to receive it and pay for it. A fake order costs the restaurant real food and a rider's trip.
• To stop spam, one person can send only a few orders in a short time.

The details we save

When you press the order button, we save:

• your name and mobile number
• your address, if you chose delivery
• your note for the restaurant
• what you ordered, the food total and the time

We save these to count each restaurant's orders, because restaurants pay us a small fee per order, and to look into an order if you or the restaurant report a problem.

Who sees your details

• The restaurant you order from. It gets the same details in the WhatsApp message you send yourself.
• Khana Pina. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for advertising.
• Nobody gets card or bank details, because there is no online payment here.
• We also keep a scrambled code made from your internet address. It only counts how many orders came from one place, to stop spam.
• We count how many people open the site each day and which link brought them. That count holds no names, numbers or addresses.

What stays on your phone

• Your browser remembers your name, number, address, cart and last order, so you do not type them again.
• It also remembers the day you last opened the site and the link you came from, so one phone is counted once a day.
• This is kept on your phone only. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.
• We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

WhatsApp

WhatsApp is a separate app owned by Meta. What you send there is covered by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
